Save your plastic food containers--they make great measurement tools! By filling and pouring out containers of different sizes your baby is learning about volume and capacity. Once she becomes more coordinated she’ll pour the water from one container into another container. She’ll discover that all the water from the large container doesn’t fit into the smaller container. It’s never too early to encourage your young scientific thinker!
