Activity: Creative wrappings

Brown paper shopping bags, stickers, markers, chalk, hair spray, tape, ribbon

Have your child make his own wrapping paper using brown paper grocery bags. Cut off the bottom of the bag and wrap around the gift, with the writing facing the inside. Give your child chalk, markers and stickers to decorate the package. Spray on a coat of hair spray to keep the chalk from smudging.

Point out that wrapping a gift this way not only allows your child to share part of themselves, but it is an excellent reuse of resources.
